Lake Placid Engagement: Adirondack Mountain Club- ADK Loj & Heart Lake | Lake Placid Wedding Photographer

There are so many things that I loved about this engagement session! Shannon and Justin booked with me via one of my dear wedding vendor friends Katy VanAnden of VanBee & Co (love my Katy brides!) earlier in the spring. We hit the ground running with planning their engagement session. They wanted a quintessential Adirondack evening filled with the scent of pine, cool breeze off the water, a summer sunset and of course wanted to involve their pup, Molly. If you haven't noticed via my blog or Insta feed I have soft spot for those furry four legged companions and just adore when couples want to involve their fur family! 

Our first chosen date was cancelled due to the eluding forecast but it made way for a gorgeous rain date in early July. Shannon and Justin decided on Heart Lake at the ADK Loj just outside of Lake Placid. Inspired by their first date we set out for an engagement session on the water with craft beers. 

I cannot wait to capture their wedding in 2019 at the gorgeous Whiteface Club and Resort, followed by a fun reception at Raquette River Brewery. Hence the fun growler details sprinkled throughout this e-session. Cheers to Friday friends!
