Lake Placid Intimate Wedding: Whiteface Mountain & Golden Arrow Lakeside Resort | Lake Placid Wedding Photographer

Initmate weddings that begin on a mountaintop and end lakeside are my favorite things about summer weddings in the Adirondacks! Cindy got in touch with me last year about their plans of hosting a wedding week where festivities would begin in Lake Placid and end in Old Forge at her family camp. I was so happy to be apart of their day as they exchanged their mountaintop views with a killer weather day on Whiteface Mountain. We made our way down the highway post ceremony back into Lake Placid where Kevin and Cindy hosted their simple and sweet boathouse reception at the Golden Arrow Lakeside Resort. 

Being native to Lake Placid during college and post-college years I had only ever been to Generations at the Golden Arrow but when I got the opportunity to step out onto their beach during this intimate wedding I was blown away! They have a gorgeous waterfront filled with sandy beaches, docks, a beachside bar and their adorable boathouse on the banks of Mirror Lake. This was the perfect spot for Kevin and Cindy's lakeside cocktail reception.
