Lakeside Engagement: Great Sacandaga Lake | Great Sacandaga Lake Wedding Photographer

As summer winds down and we sink into the cool nights and warm days leading into the fall season I can't help but reminisce on these beautiful evenings I've had for engagement sessions this summer. This session was a lot of fun because I was actually able to shoot in my hometown and it only took me 10 minutes to get to my couple!  I almost didn't know what to do with myself as usually a majority of my work takes me to the Saranac Lake/Lake Placid areas of the park so being in the Southern Adirondacks was refreshing!

I met up with Nicole and Peter at their family home on the Great Sacandaga Lake in early August. We had a gorgeousssss evening and the Sacandaga never disappoints during golden hour.  When I met Nicole for our pre-wedding chat she mentioned to me that their wedding was going to be very family driven and focused which I loved! Nicole and Peter have a lot of love for this lake as its one of their favorite places to spend time with their family during all seasons of the year. We also incorporated their children into a couple photos to round off the evening as they all will play an important role in the bridal party next month. I'm looking forward to capturing their wedding at Lanzi's on the Lake in just a few short weeks.
