Lake Placid Engagement: John Brown Farm | Lake Placid Intimate Wedding Photographer
You know how they say when you live in the Adirondacks you can see numerous weather systems in any given day...well the day of Jesse and Seamus' engagement session we saw just that. We started with overcast, saw the sun, dark storm clouds, a rainbow and a beautiful sherbet colored sunset all over a course of 90 minutes. When they say you can get sunburn and frost bite in the same day in these neck of the woods they aren't far off.
Jesse and Seamus' love is so infectious and fun! I met up with them in late July at John Brown Farm Historic Site in Lake Placid. They loved this spot because of its multiple offerings from the pond, historic barn, mountain views and a killer spot to catch the sunset. I met Seamus during my time at Paul Smith's College, I loooove reconnecting with fellow smitties and am so honored when asked to capture their story! The way Seamus adores Jesse is reflected in these photos which makes my heart all sorts of happy! Oh and did I mention they brought their furbaby Corrigan with them?! He really stole the show ;)
I had so much fun with these two and cannot wait for their 1920's inspired wedding at the newly restored Hotel Saranac next summer.
